City Planning Difference
The other day, one of my colleagues pointed out the difference between the streets in Beijing and Shanghai. Obviously, Beijing is more square-ish because most of its roads are running from south to north or east to west. You can see from the pictures below.

The reason being that Beijing roads are so squarely placed, according to my colleague, is because it’s developed overtime according to ancient city road network. Fair enough. Make sense. What does not make sense is the road network below…

i found KL’s roads amazing too, and the best part is ithey changes overtime!
