Bonjour, Paris

Every year, there is one grand event which attracts all the lingerie industry brand names and companies from all over the world. It’s called Interfiliere Lyon. It’s held in Lyon, the second biggest city in France. This is our company annual event as well. And most importantly, I’m going there this year. Today.

I’m leaving tonight at Shanghai Pudong Airport, and will be back on 7th September. With me, I have a trusty Lonely Planet guide.

So far, a few things I’m looking forward to…

  • Lyon is the gastronomical city of France. So tasty cuisine awaits!
  • Lyon is an old city, with a history of silk weaving industry. So streets that feel like a walk into the past, and underground tunnels connecting different parts of the city (to avoid the harsh weather while transporting the silk) will guarantee lots of photos.
  • September is the Jazz season of France. Hope I can get a glimpse of that.
  • Taking TGV, the fastest railway train on earth, hitting over 300km/h.

So I’ll keep you updated in the next few days (That is, if i have time and can find a internet connection). Bless me that I wouldn’t cry over over-priced stuff, because 1 Euro = 10RMB.
